Control Plant Manufacturing

PNG is one of the largest manufacturers and suppliers of protection and control plant in South Africa, and an authorised manufacturer of control plant for NTCSA under licence from Siemens South Africa.

Our schemes are designed in-house from start to end. Third-party IEDs and components are procured and integrated as part of our design, configuration, and test processes. Control panels are customised to client requirements and are widely accepted across the Southern African region for both private clients and electrical utilities on term contracts.

Siemens Medium Voltage GIS Switchgear

PNG is a licensed reseller of Siemens 8DAB10 and Siemens NXPLUS C medium voltage GIS switchgear. PNG manufactures the control plant and low voltage compartments of the Siemens switchgear locally, while switchgear assemblies are imported from Siemens overseas factories — allowing complete customisation to client and project-specific requirements.

The manufacturing process is concluded with integrated factory testing of the complete switchgear and control plant, all at our Hartbeespoort facility.
